Brenda L. Becker has chronicled the beauty, mystery and joy of Brooklyn's Prospect Park in words and images since 2008 in her blog Prospect: A Year in the Park.

This full-color hardcover, the first collection of photography from that project, celebrates the joyous and diverse dogs (and their owners) who bring the park to life each day. "I've never had a dog, I don't speak dog," says Becker, "but the park's cavalcade of canines bowled me over with exuberant delight."

From rescued pit bulls to pampered teacup fluffballs, the portraits reflect the pure Brooklyn attitude of the park's four- and two-legged fans, interspersed with shots of their favorite haunts in all seasons. The book is 5 x 7 inches, 21 pages, and designed by the photographer/blogger, who will sign it with a dedication to the recipient of your choice.
